    Rowan University will be performing maintenance to the Banner Student Information System on Friday, 4/21/2017 from 9pm until midnight. Additional network maintenance will be performed on Saturday, 4/22/2017 from noon to 8pm. Self-Service Banner and some portions of the Rowan Online Portal — including the “My Courses” tool — may be intermittently unavailable during the maintenance period. Other parts of the Rowan Network and Rowan Online Portal may also be intermittently affected.

    If you are attempting to access your courses during the weekend, it is strongly recommended that you proceed to Canvas directly by logging into the Rowan Online Portal and clicking “Access your courses in Canvas” instead of using the “My Courses” tool.

    The Banner Student Information System will be undergoing emergency maintenance on Friday, 3/3/2017 from 7PM to 9PM ET and again on 3/4/2017 from 6AM to 3PM ET. Additional maintenance to the Banner SIS system may continue throughout the weekend. Self-Service Banner and some portions of the Rowan Online Portal — including the “My Courses” tool — are expected to be unavailable during the maintenance period.

    If you are attempting to access your courses during the weekend, it is strongly recommended that you proceed to Canvas directly by logging into the Rowan Online Portal and clicking “Access your courses in Canvas” instead of using the “My Courses” tool. Online courses and access to the learning management system should not be affected by the maintenance.

  • Canvas Outage UPDATE : 5:30 PM | Posted Tuesday, February 28, 2017 - 1:00pm

    Earlier this afternoon Amazon Web Services which hosts Canvas experienced a large scale outage which effected Canvas and a wide array of other web services. Amazon has been working on a solution and has restored the majority of effected websites including Canvas. As service is still being restored you may encounter longer page load times and timeout issues. Please contact our Support Desk with any questions or problems you encounter.
