    The adobe connect system used with some online courses will undergo maintenance on June 8th from 1 AM to 4 AM. The system may be intermittently unavailable during this time. Faculty and students should make note of the slated maintenance period and adjust your schedules accordingly. For any issues using the Adobe Connect system after the maintenance period, please submit a ticket to the CGCE Support Center.

    From 12:01 AM to 3:00 AM ET on Tuesday, 4/30/2013, the CGCE Portal is expected to go down for necessary upgrades. This outage should not affect users of the CGCE Blackboard or Canvas systems if already logged in. However, users not already logged into the CGCE Blackboard or Canvas systems during the outage may not be able to log in until after the upgrades have been completed. Students and faculty should adjust their schedules accordingly.

    On Friday evening, April 19th, the Rowan network will be undergoing maintenance that may cause brief periods of unavailability to the CGCE Portal and related services (Blackboard, Canvas, student Gmail, etc.). In addition, there may be short periods of system downtime throughout the weekend (Friday through Sunday). If you experience an outage and are unable to log into or access any of these services, please wait a short time and attempt to log in again before submitting a support ticket.

    CGCE's Blackboard System will undergo scheduled maintenance from 12:01 AM to 6:00 AM ET on Sunday March 31st. As series of critical product patches and security upgrades are slated to be installed. The system is expected to go offline during the maintenance period. Students and instructors should adjust their schedule accordingly. Any questions, concerns, or tech issues related to this matter should be submitted as a ticket to the CGCE Support Center in the Portal.

    The rowanonline web site and CGCE Portal login services appear to be stable. We are working with Network System Services to determine what caused the issue. Check back here for updates.

    The rowanonline web site and CGCE Portal login services are intermittently experiencing problems. CGCE has provided an alternative login method on the CGCE portal page for major online student services which should allow students to access courses and related systems. We sincerely apologize for this issue and we are working to correct the problem. Please check back for udpates

    At approximately 7PM on 2/6/2013, Rowanonline.com web site and the CGCE Portal began experiencing log in issues. CGCE Online Services has been working to resolve the issue and as of approx 10 PM, the web site system appears to be stable. Users may continue to attempt to log in. CGCE will continue to monitor the site. If you experience issues, check back in the announcements for updates prior to submitting tickets to support.

    RESCHEDULED - The planned Blackboard Maintenance for Sun 2/10 has been rescheduled.

    CGCE's Blackboard system will undergo required maintenance on Sunday Feb 24th from 12 AM to 6 AM ET. The system is expected to be periodically unavailable during this period. Several hotfixes are slated to be installed as part of on-going system maintenance. This outage affects Blackboard users ONLY. The CGCE Portal and Canvas LMS will remain unaffected and accessible during this maintenance period. Students and faculty experiencing issues after the maintenance period has ended should submit a ticket to the CGCE Support Center for further assistance.

  • Web Site Maintenance 2/8 (Service Interruption Expected) | Posted Tuesday, February 5, 2013 - 10:30pm

    The rowanonline.com web site, including the CGCE Portal, will undergo required maintenance on Feb 8th between 12 AM (midnight) and 7AM to increase the amount of physical memory available to the system. The site is expected to go off-line for a period of no longer than 1 hr during this maintenance window. This is a follow up to the previous web site system maintenance performed on 1/25/13. Users are asked to prepare their schedules accordingly. For any questions or on-going technical issues after the maintenance window has concluded, please submit a ticket to the Support Center in the CGCE Portal.

    At 4:00 AM on Saturday 1/5/2013 the Internet connection to Rowan Campus in Glassboro, NJ will go down for approximately 10 minutes for planned maintenance. During this brief outage, users who are not authenticated to the CGCE Portal, LMS or other services will not be able to log in. Students and faculty should adjust their schedules accordingly.

    The CGCE Support Center will be undergoing maintenance today (12/19) between 10am and 11am. The Support Center may be down intermittently during this time. The CGCE fully expects that downtime will be minimal and the Support Center will return as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

    CGCE's Adobe Connect webinar system will undergo a planned upgrade to version 9. The upgrade is schedule for Dec 7th 2012 from 11 PM to 7AM EST. The system will likely be offline or intermittently available during this upgrade period. Students and instructors in classes using the Adobe Connect system should plan their schedules accordingly. Questions and concerns should be submitted as a ticket to the Support Center in the CGCE Portal.
